Many flavors of Windows 7

It is confusing to buy Windows Vista. There are 6 versions of the merchandise. Windows Vista: Starter, Home Basic, Home ground Premium, Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate. Most people I talk to don’t at bottom know the difference between each version. Most people can deem that the lower-end cheaper versions come with less features. However, it is a teensy-weensy more confusing. When you buy a new PC sometimes your choices are limited between 1-2 versions of the operating system. Other times when you buy the higher-end account of the operating system some of the features may not be available because your hardware does not reinforce them.

Windows 2000 for a desktop operating system was great because there was only one version for the desktop, Windows 2000 Masterful. Windows 2000 was generally considered a business operating system. Most consumer PCs still came with Windows98 or the laughable WindowsME.

Windows XP seemed to clear many problems. It combined the legacy Windows NT and Windows 2000 responsibility operating systems with the consumer operating systems of Windows 98 and ME and brought us two versions: Windows XP Core and Windows XP Professional. Everyone knew they should only buy Windows XP Professional. The choice was unaffected and for the most part made sense.

There are many reasons Windows Vista failed. Consumer hotchpotch is one of the reasons. I do not understand why Microsoft is making so many several versions of Windows. Didn’t they learn their lesson from Vista? The really behind the many different versions of Windows 7 has to do with licensing. There are going to be devices limitations as well. Some PCs will not be able to use all the features of different versions of Windows. Microsoft is essentially distressing to make money by selling you additional features if you do have a PC that can take improvement of them.

Increasing the size of menus in the Windows XP operating system
